Prof. John Kurakar and family visitd Kashid Beach on 25 and 26 march, 2023.Kashid Beach is one of  the favorite beach.on It is located almost 30 km from Alibaug and 125 km from Mumbai.

Kashid Beach is situated on the coasts of Arabian Sea. Famous for its beautiful white colour sand, Kashid is one of the cleanest beaches in north Konkan. The beach is stretched across 3 km and surrounded by shrubs and trees called Casuarina. It is one of the Safest beach in Konkan Region.

Kashid beach is known for its clear blue color sea, white sand and Casuarina groves that line the Shore. This beach has the Sahyadri mountains with greenery and paddy fields at one side and Arabian Sea on the other side.Beach is famous for water sport activities of Parasailing, Banana Boat rides, jet skiing. Horse, Camel and Buggy rides are also available. Weekends at Kashid beach are quite crowded so it would be best to visit on weekdays.
