RS 1 CRORE LOTTERY
പശ്ചിമബംഗാൾ യുവാവ് കേരളത്തിലെത്തി നാലാംനാൾ കോടിപതി.
A Bengali worker arrived in Kerala on March 4 hoping to eke out a
living. Instead he found a fortune barely 24 hours after his arrival.Twenty-two-year-old
Mofijul Rahman Sekh bought a lottery ticket on the day he arrived in Kerala,
and the next day the draw declared him the winner.The prize: Rs 1 crore.Since
then, he has been living inside the Chevayur police station.
Mofijul, son of Ahor Sekh, hails from Uttar Lakshmipur in Malda
district of West Bengal. He came to Vellimadukunnu on March 4. On a whim, he
bought a lottery ticket from a vendor for Rs 50. Imagine his surprise when his
ticket was drawn for the first prize the very next day.“It's my first visit to
Kerala. I thought I would work here for a few months, visit nearby places and
then return to my village. However, the lottery prize came as a total
surprise,” said Mofijul.“I used to buy lottery tickets even in Bengal. But this
is the first time I've won,” he said. Mofijul said he would build a house and
purchase farmland with the money.
Chevayur circle inspector A V John said, “He came to the police
station on Monday around 5 pm, accompanied by the builder who had employed him.
He sought police protection fearing that his ticket would be stolen.”“We took
him to the State Bank of India’s Vellimadukunnu branch where he opened a bank
account and deposited the ticket,” the officer said.
കേരളത്തില്‍ കാലുകുത്തി നാലാം നാള്‍ മൊഫിജുല്‍ റഹ്മാന്‍ ഷെയ്ഖ് (22) സ്വദേശമായ പശ്ചിമബംഗാള്‍ ലക്ഷ്മിപൂരിലേക്ക് വിളിച്ച് സന്തോഷ വാര്‍ത്ത അറിയിച്ചു. കാരുണ്യ ലോട്ടറിയായി ഒരു കോടി രൂപ സമ്മാനം അടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. വാര്‍ത്ത കേട്ടതോടെ മാതാ പിതാക്കളും ഭാര്യയും കരച്ചിലോട് കരച്ചില്‍. വേഗം നാട്ടിലെത്താനും ജീവന്‍ അപായപ്പെടുമെന്നുമായിരുന്നു മുന്നറിയിപ്പ്. വെട്ടിമാടുകുന്നിലെ താമസ സ്ഥലത്തു നിന്നും സുഹൃത്തിനെയും കൂട്ടി നേരെ ചേവായൂര്‍ പൊലീസ് സ്റ്റേഷനിലെത്തിയ യുവാവിന്റെ ആശങ്ക കണ്ട് ചേവായൂര്‍ സ്‌റ്റേഷനിലെ പൊലീസുകാര്‍ ആദ്യമൊന്ന് അമ്പരന്നു. ഒരു കോടി രൂപ ലോട്ടറിയടിച്ചതായും പരിചയക്കാര്‍ പോലുമില്ലാത്ത തന്നെ ഇതു തട്ടിയെടുക്കാന്‍ ആരെങ്കിലും വകവരുത്തുമോയെന്ന ഭയത്തിലാണെന്നും ബോധിപ്പിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ പൊലീസുകാര്‍ക്കും ചിരിയടക്കാന്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞില്ല.
ബുധനാഴ്ച കോഴിക്കോട്ടെത്തിയ മൊഫിജുല്‍ റഹ്മാന്‍ വെള്ളിമാടുകുന്നിലെ താമസസ്ഥലമായ വാടകകെട്ടിടത്തിനടുത്ത് ബൈക്കില്‍ എത്തിയ ഏജന്റില്‍ നിന്നാണ് ലോട്ടറിയെടുത്തത്.. കാരുണ്യ ലോട്ടറിയുടെ കെ.ടി 215092 നമ്പര്‍ ലോട്ടറിയിലാണ് ഒരു കോടി രൂപ സമ്മാനം ലഭിച്ചത്. തിങ്കളാഴ്ചയും ഞായറാഴ്ചയും ചേവായൂര്‍ പൊലീസ് സ്‌റ്റേഷനില്‍ താമസിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു യുവാവ് ചേവായൂര്‍ പ്രിന്‍സിപ്പള്‍ എസ്.ഐ യു.കെ ഷാജഹാന്റെ സഹായത്തോടെ വെളളിമാടുകുന്ന് സ്‌റ്റേറ്റ് ബാങ്ക് ശാഖയില്‍ ലോട്ടറി ടിക്കറ്റ് ഏല്‍പ്പിച്ചു.പശ്ചിമബംഗാള്‍ ലക്ഷ്മിപൂര്‍ ബര്‍ധ്വയിലെ പ്രഭസ്ഥലി ദംഗപര സ്വദേശി അഹൊര്‍ ഷെയ്ഖിന്റെയും മുംതാസ് ബീവിയുടേയും മകനാണ്.
മമ്താസുന്‍ റഹ്മാന്‍, മൊമ്ത്തിയാര്‍ റഹ്മാന്‍ എന്നീ രണ്ട് സഹോദരന്‍മാരും അന്‍വാര്‍ കത്തൂന്‍ എന്ന സഹോദരിയും കൂടി ഉള്‍പ്പെട്ടതാണ് മൊഫിജുല്‍ റഹ്മാന്റെ കുടുംബം. ഏറ്റവും ഇളയ ആളാണ് മൊഫിജുല്‍. ഭാര്യ നഫീജാബീവിയെയും പത്ത് മാസം പ്രായമായ മസൂമാകത്തിനെയും കാണാന്‍ കൊതിയായെന്നും പെട്ടന്ന് നാട്ടിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങുമെന്ന് മൊഫിജുല്‍ റഹ്മാന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു. കെട്ടിടനിര്‍മ്മാണതൊഴിലാളിയായി കോഴിക്കോട്ടെത്തിയ നിര്‍ധനനായ യുവാവിന് ഒരു കോടി രൂപ കിട്ടിയതിന്റെ അമ്പരപ്പും സന്തോഷവും മുഖത്ത് പ്രതിഫലിക്കാത്തത് ഭയം മൂലമാണ്. വാര്‍ത്തയറിഞ്ഞാല്‍ ആരെങ്കിലും അപായപ്പെടുത്തുമോ എന്ന് വേവലാതി. ജീവിതം കരുപ്പിടിപ്പിക്കാന്‍ കോഴിക്കോട്ടെത്തി നാലാം നാള്‍ കേരളത്തിന്റെ 'കാരുണ്യം' ലഭിച്ച സന്തോഷവുമായി രണ്ടു ദിവസത്തിനകം മൊഫിജുല്‍ റഹ്മാന്‍ ബംഗാളിലേക്ക് മടങ്ങും.
