BIHAR POLL RESULTS SHOWS HINDUS STILL BELIVE IN PEACE AND AMITY-DALAI LAMA

ഹിന്ദുക്കള്‍ സമാധാനം ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നതിന്റെ തെളിവാണ് ബീഹാര്‍ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് ഫലം- ദലൈലാമ

Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama on Saturday said India is a nation of non violence and noted that a majority of theHindus believes in peace and amity."India has a long tradition of peace and amity. The people of Bihar in the recent Assembly polls have proved that a large section of the Hindu community still believes in peace and amity," the 14th Dalai Lama said without naming any political party or leader."It is because of this amity that India is known worldwide as a country of religious tolerance. All religions and individuals are given equal respect here," he told reporters on the sidelines of a function here.

രാജ്യത്തെ ഭൂരിപക്ഷം വരുന്ന ഹിന്ദുക്കള്‍ സമാധാനത്തിലും ഐക്യത്തിലും കഴിയാന്‍ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നവരാണെന്നതിന്റെ തെളിവാണ് ബീഹാര്‍ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് ഫലമെന്ന് ദലൈലാമ വ്യക്തമാക്കി.ഇന്ത്യ എന്ന രാജ്യം അക്രമങ്ങളെ പ്രോത്സാഹിപ്പിക്കുന്നില്ല. സമാധാനത്തിന്റെയും ഐക്യത്തിന്റെയും വലിയൊരു പാരമ്പര്യം ഇന്ത്യയ്ക്കുണ്ട്. രാഷ്ട്രീയ പാര്‍ട്ടിയുടെയും നേതാക്കളുടെയും പേര് പരാമര്‍ശിക്കാതെയായിരുന്നു ദലൈലാമയുടെ വിമര്‍ശനം.

മതപരമായ സഹിഷ്ണുത കാണിക്കുന്നതില്‍ ഇന്ത്യ ലോകരാഷ്ട്രങ്ങള്‍ക്കിടയില്‍ പ്രസിദ്ധമാണ്. എല്ലാ മതങ്ങള്‍ക്കും വ്യക്തികള്‍ക്കും ഇവിടെ തുല്യപരിഗണനയാണ് ലഭിക്കുന്നതെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.മതപരമായ സഹിഷ്ണുത എന്നതിന് എല്ലാ മതങ്ങളെയും ബഹുമാനിക്കുകയെന്നത് മാത്രമല്ല, ജനങ്ങളെയും ബഹുമാനിക്കുകയെന്നു കൂടിയാണ് അര്‍ത്ഥമാക്കുന്നത്. സ്വന്തം വീട്ടില്‍ നിന്നുതന്നെ സമാധാനാന്തരീക്ഷം ഉണ്ടാക്കണമെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്‍്ത്തു.
