SREE NARAYANA GURU’S CRUCIFIXION IN TABLEAU

After portraying the crucifixion of Sree Narayana Guru in a tableau during a pageant held on Krishna Janmashtami in Kerala last week, the Communist Party of India (Marxist) on Monday came forward, saying it was a mistake.The controversial tableau, which appeared during a procession in Kannur on Saturday, portrayed two men nailing Guru on a cross.However, CPM state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan on Monday reportedly said that the party had not insulted Sree Narayana Guru, who he said was a great social reformer."We don't do anything, which hurts the feeling of the followers of Guru. The CPM tries to implement Guru's teachings. Majority of the party workers belong to SNDP Yogam," Manorama Online quoted Balakrishnan as saying.State's leader of opposition VS Achutanandan said it was a mistake and that theallegations of insulting Guru were being made by saffron outfits in a bid to tarnish the party's image.

Earlier, Sree Narayana Dharma Paripalana (SNDP) Yogam general secretary Vellappally Nateshan had said that those responsible for the incident will have to face dire consequences."The CPM has become the Judas who betrayed Guru. CPM doesn't have to decide what politics should the followers of Guru believe in. People will give a fitting reply to the party for such deeds," Vellapally said.The CPM had conducted several pageants across Kerala on the occasion of Krishna Janmashtami in a bid to woo support from Hindu voters, who now seem to lean towards the BJP. In the recent by-election in Aruvikkara assembly constituency, BJP had eaten into the vote share of the Left Democratic Front.കണ്ണൂരിലെ തളിപ്പറമ്പിൽ ബാലസംഘം നടത്തിയ ഘോഷയാത്രയിൽ ശ്രീനാരായണ ഗുരുവിനെ കുരിശിൽ തറയ്ക്കുന്ന തരത്തിലുള്ള നിശ്ചലദൃശ്യം അവതരിപ്പിച്ചതിൽ സിപിഎം കേന്ദ്ര നേതൃത്വം ഖേദം പ്രകടിപ്പിച്ചു. ഇക്കാര്യത്തിൽ പ്രദേശിക പ്രവർത്തകർക്ക് തെറ്റുപറ്റി. കൂടുതൽ ജാഗ്രത പുലർത്തേണ്ടിയിരുന്നു. ഇത്തരം തെറ്റ് ആവർത്തിക്കാതിരിക്കാൻ എല്ലാ ഘടകങ്ങളും ജാഗ്രത പാലിക്കണമെന്നും സിപിഎം കേന്ദ്ര നേതൃത്വം വ്യക്തമാക്കി. ഇന്നലെ ജില്ലാ ഘടകവും അതിനു പിന്നാലെ സംസ്ഥാന ഘടകവും തെറ്റുപറ്റിയെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞതിന് പിന്നാലെയാണ് ഇന്ന് കേന്ദ്ര നേതൃത്വവും തെറ്റ് അംഗീകരിച്ചത്.

ശ്രീനാരായണ ഗുരുവിനെ കുരിശിൽ തറയ്ക്കുന്ന തരത്തിലുള്ള നിശ്ചലദൃശ്യം അവതരിപ്പിക്കാൻ പാടില്ലായിരുന്നുവെന്ന് സിപിഎം സംസ്ഥാന സെക്രട്ടറി കോടിയേരി ബാലകൃഷ്ണൻ ഇന്നലെ വ്യക്തമാക്കിയിരുന്നു. നവോത്ഥാന, സാംസ്കാരിക നായകരെ അവതരിപ്പിക്കുമ്പോൾ സംഘാടകർ കുറച്ചുകൂടി ജാഗ്രത കാണിക്കണമായിരുന്നു. ഗുരുവിനെ അപമാനിക്കുന്ന സമീപനം സിപിഎമ്മിന്റെ ഭാഗത്തു നിന്നുണ്ടാവില്ലെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.സിപിഎമ്മിന്റെ നടപടിക്കെതിരെ എസ്എൻഡിപി യോഗം ജനറൽ സെക്രട്ടറി വെള്ളാപ്പള്ളി നടേശൻ രംഗത്തെത്തിയിരുന്നു. എസ്എൻഡിപി യോഗത്തെ ക്രൂശിക്കുന്ന യൂദാസ് ആയി സിപിഎം മാറി. ഈഴവരെ അനാഥ പ്രേതങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ കൈകാര്യം ചെയ്യാമെന്നാണു പിണറായിയും കൂട്ടരും കരുതുന്നതെങ്കിൽ അവർ മൂഢസ്വർഗത്തിലാണ്. യോഗനേതൃത്വത്തിനു ജാതി പറയാൻ പിണറായി വിജയന്റെയും വിഎസ് അച്യുതാനന്ദന്റെയും ലൈസൻസ് ആവശ്യമില്ല. ഈഴവരുടെ ക്ഷേമത്തിനു പ്രവർത്തിക്കാൻ യോഗത്തിന് അനുമതി തന്നതു തിരുവിതാംകൂർ ദിവാനായിരുന്ന കെ. കൃഷ്ണസ്വാമി രായരാണെന്നും അനുമതിപത്രം ഉയർത്തിക്കാട്ടി വെള്ളാപ്പള്ളി പറഞ്ഞു
