It’s not just onions that are bringing tears to the eyes of homemakers in the city; rising prices of other vegetables too are stretching household budgets.While onions are available in the market at around Rs.50 a kg, in retail shops the prices vary from Rs.52 to Rs.55 a kg.

14 ചാക്ക് സവാള കാണാനില്ലായിരുന്നുവെന്ന് കടയുടമ പറഞ്ഞു. വഡല ട്രക്ക് ടെര്മിനല് പോലീസ് അന്വേഷണം തുടങ്ങി.സവാള മോഷണവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് കേസ് രജിസ്ട്രര് ചെയ്തിട്ടുണ്ട്. രാജ്യത്ത് 80 കിലോ വരെയാണ് സവാളയുടെ വിപണി വില.
