MILITANTS ATTACK JIWANI AIRPORT IN BALOCHISTAN

At least two engineers were killed on Sunday as a result
of a militant attack on Jiwani aiport, near the Pak-Iran coastal border in
Balochistan's Gwadar district.Police sources told DawnNews unknown miscreants
opened fire at the airport and killed electronics superintendent identified as
Khalilullah during the attack.The assailants had also kidnapped electronics
engineer Mehmudullah Niazi from the airport. Niazi's bullet-ridden body was
later found from a nearby area.Police sources said that the kidnapped engineer
was shot from a close range. At least six miscreants riding motorcycles were
involved in the attack on Jiwani airport, police said.According to sources,
security was not tight in and around the airport at the time of attack.The
assailants sped away on their motorcycles after the attack.Police and personnel
of other law enforcement agencies reached the site and started investigation
into the incident.There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the
attack.In the past, militants attacked the Pasni Radar Station in the region.Balochistan
Chief Minister Abdul Malik Baloch also condemned the attack and expresses grief
over the loss of innocent lives,He also directed the district administration
