Muktha got married to Rinku Tomy at St George Syro-Malabar Catholic Forane
Church in Edappally, Kochi, on Sunday, 30 August.As announced earlier, Muktha
wore the traditional Syrian Christian chatta andmundu for the wedding ceremony.
The marriage was also highlighted by Margam Kali, which is the traditional
dance form of St Thomas Christians. The reception, which had been arranged at
Gokulam Park, Kochi, was attended by many celebs from the film industry.
The bride groom,
Rinku, is the brother of playback singer Rimi Tomy. The couple gotengaged on
Sunday, 23 August at St John's Baptist Church, Palarivattom, Kochi. The actress
had donned the traditional Kerala set saree, specially designed by Kasavu Kada
and traditional ornaments likepalakka mala. The function also saw women
performing Thiruvathirakali (dance form performed by women in Kerala).
Muktha, who began her
career as an actress in Lal Jose's film "Achanurangatha Veedu", was
in a relationship with popular singer Rimi Tomy's brother Rinku for quite some
time.The actress will next be seen in Tamil films "Vaaimai",
"Sagunthalavin Kadhalan", "Vasuvum Saravananum Onna
Padichavanga", "Paambhu Sattai" and Malayalam project
