The International
Elephant Festival is in its ninth year in Nepal’s Chitwan region.Elephants were honored in Nepal this week
during a yearly festival in which the massive animals partake in events like a
foot race and soccer match.Now in its ninth year, the International Elephant
Festival has become increasingly popular with locals and tourists, the
Telegraph reports.The event started Wednesday and ended Friday in Nepal’s
