WORLD FOOD DAY-2012 (16 OCTOBER 2012)

WORLD FOOD DAY-2012

(16 OCTOBER 2012)

16 October every year: Raising awareness of food security and strengthening solidarity in the struggle against hunger. This day, declared by the UN General Assembly, aims to heighten public awareness of world food problems and strengthen solidarity in the struggle against hunger, malnutrition and poverty.
