RAILWAYS TO TRANSPORT KERALA VEGETABLES TO DELHI
 
Indian Railways has inked a pact with the Kerala Horticulture Development Corporation (Horticorp) for carrying fresh vegetables, fruits and farm produce from the state to New Delhi. As part of the scheme, Railways will provide required space in New Delhi-bound Kerala Express for carrying vegetables on a regular basis, a railway release.. Horticorp would procure and load these items. 
The first consignment of banana will be flagged off by Kerala Agriculture Minister K P Mohan tomorrow.
