MULLAPERIYAR- MALAYALEE YOUTH ON FAST IN DELHI ARRESTED
The Delhi police held three youth who were holding fast at Jantar Manthar demanding speedy intervention of the center in the Mullaperiyar dam issue. They were arrested and shifted to hospital. Mullaperiyar national protection committee leaders Dr Simmi Joseph from Alappuzha, Adv Rajesh Chandra Das from Thiruvananthapuram and Anoop Johny from Idukki were fasting for the last 8 days. They were shifted to Rammanohar Lohia hospital. MPs PC Chacko, N Peethambarankurup, PT Thomas too visited them at Jantar Prof. John Kurakar
