PALAKKAD TO BECAME E- REVENUE DISTRICT

      Kerala Chief Minister will inaugurate the first e- revenue district at the collectorate on February 8,marking total digisation of the Revenu Department by computerising the collectorate, five taluks and 156 village offices.
   With this achievement,Palakkad will become the first paperless revenue district. It is the first computerized collectorate in the country implemented under the DC Suit 'System.
      It is the first district where all the five taluk offices are computerized under the Taluk Suit" and connected with the collectorate. The programme included networking, modernization and computerization of taluk and village offices for total digitization of the Revenue Department. The new system is expected to reduce procedural delays and bring in transparency, now,the entire file-flow process willbe done electronically from the village to the district level.
