VYLOPPILLY CENTENARY CELEBRATION

   Vyloppilly birth centenary celebrations began at Thunchan Parambu, Tirur on the second Day of the Thunchan Festival on Thursday 3rd February,2011. The celebrations, organised jointly by the Kerala Sahitya Akademy and Thunchan memorial Trust.
Ezhuthachan
    Delivering the Vyloppilly centenary lecture, Sukumar Azhikodu described Thunchathy Ramanujan Ezhuthachan's style as an inimitable one.Prof Azhikodu said that Ezhuthachan became the father of Malayalam language because of his new language use.
    The Festival inaugurated by Sitanshu yashaschandra, Gujarati Scholar. Prof Thomas Mathew, critic presided over the function. The Vyloppilly centenary seminar will continue on Friday. Prof M.K Sanoo, scholar will deliver the keynote address in the Final session
