U K DEGREES TO ATTRACT INDIAN STUDENTS

       More than 51,000 Indian students are currently studying in the U.K,making it one of the favorite educational destination among the student community in India. Indian students represent the second largest number of international students inhigher education in the U K.
     The Education UK Exhibition 2010 organised by the council in Kochi on November 23 provided aspiring students an insight in to the growing educational avenues in the country. there is a definitive increase in the enrolment of Indian students for Ph.D programmes in life science programmes offered by universities in the U K. Other most important courses include Management, engineering, nursing and information technology and communicatioin, art and design. The post graduate programmes in the U.K are in demand. The duration of the ciurses is only one year. The students can also take up part time jobs while pursuing the post graduate programme. Students can work full time during vacations.
     Those enrolled in degree level programmes and above can work up to 20 hours a week while those studying courses below degree level can work for only 10 hours a week.
   The post graduate students allows to stay in the U. K for up to two years to take employment with out a work permit.  www.educationuk-in.org.
