CLIMATE CHANGE CONFERENCE

Climate change will begin Monday 29th November,2010 in Cancun can Beach resort,Mexico. The main focus could be on forestry issues and reducing emissions from deforestation and forest degradation. 15000 delegates are expected to attend the conference.
The Mexican government is committed to ensuring that participants mobilization and energy consumption during the conference results in the smallest environmental impact. The Mexican authorities is to ensure that a large amount of the energy used during the conference comes from renewable sources, hence minimizing as much as possible the the release of green houses gas(GHG) emissions in to the atmosphere.
The Mexican government is engaged of photovoltaic cells with an estimated output of 130KW. The installation of a wind power generator with a 1.5 M W capacity will contribute to Cancun's electric out put through an additional renewable source.
Regarding transportation delegations of participating countries will be provided with hybrid vehicles for their transfers during the conference.
Around 10,000 trees and bushes will be planted in Cancun.This will contribute both carbon capture and sequestration.
