SOIL CONSERVATION
The Kerala government would extend soil conservation programme all across the state. Agriculture Minister called upon the people to conserve soil after studying its chemical and physical nature with a view to enhancing agriculture producation. though Kerala has eight out of the 11 soil varieties in the world, we have failed to have a proper understand of the different soil varieties. The soil and plant health climic would help in soil investigation, which was an important component for agriculture development in the district.
