HONORARY DEGREE OF DOCTORATE AWARD TO K.G BALAKRISHNAN, E. SREEDHARAN AND KALAMANDALAM RAMANKUTTY NAIR

    Governor R.S Gavai presented the honoary degree of doctorate awarded by the cochin University of science and Technology (CUSAT) to K.G Balakrishnan,chairman of the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) E. Sreedharan, managing Director of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation and Kakamandalam Ramankutty Nair, renowned Kathakali artiste at a special convocation held on Saturday 4th December,2010.
      Mr Gavai said that Mr Balakrishnan's land mark judgements had been acclaimed by the entire nation. He is endowed with a keen sens of social purpose. Mr E. Sreedharan' an engineer of international repute his contribution in his  present assignment as the managing director of the Delhi metro Rail corporation. Mr Ramankutty Nair has been a vibrant presence on the Kathakali stage.
