Kottara Thenguvila Sri. C. Geevarghese (Elder Uncle) died on 29th May,2010.He was 100 age(Houndred). He was the former secretary of the Marthoma Church,Kottara. He was one of the famous agriculturist.
He was buried at Kottara Marthoma Church at 3.30 pm on 31st May,2010.The body laid at his home at 9 am for the public to pay last respects. Thousands of people from different walks of life paid them last respects.
Kottarakara, Karickom Kurakar Family members(Sri C.Geevarghese’s sister Thankamma’s family) expressed grief over the passing away of C. Geevarghese. Sri P.G Mathew Kurakar, VargheseKurakar,Prof. John Kurakar, Dr T.C Mathew (Enathu) Mr Thomas Kurakar, Mr Bobby Kurakar,Mrs Annamma Thomas (Kundara),Mrs Lizy Varghese,Prof.Molly -Kurakar,MrsSobha Bobby,Mrs Suma Mathew(Enathu),Mr Manu Kurakar were paid last respects and attended the funeral function.
