REV M.G THOMAS MULLAVELI
Rev M.G Thomas Mullaveli, 70, who died on Wednesday 13th January,2010. He was a renowned priest of Marthoma church. A native of Karickom Rev M.G Thomas was served as vicar in several churches in UAE, Valakom, Kollam, Thevalakara, Kumali ,Meeyannoor ,Kaithakuzhi, Mylom, Karickom. He was the secretary of the Thiruvananthapuram-Kollam districts, council member of the Marthoma church.
He is survived his wife Ammalkutty Rt.teacher and daughters Jibi,Sibi, Shibi. The body laid at his home and Karckom Marthoma church from 9 am on sunday, 17th January 2010 for the public to pay last respects.
He was buried at Karickom Marthoma church at 4 pm on saturday. Tens of thousands people from different walks of life paid them last respects to the renowned vicar.
Kurakar family Committee expressed grief over the passing away of Rev. Thomas Mullaveli. The president of the Family said Rev Thomas Mullaveli's death was a great loss for Marthoma church and our Kurakar family and community
