CHILDREN'S FILM FESTIVAL-2009
A three day children's film festival organised by the state Institute of Education Technology (SIET) will begin at the Thiruvananthapuram Sopanam Auditorium at 10 am on Saturday 14th November,2009. Child artiste Mani, who won the state award for the best child actor in 2006, will light the traditional lamp to inaugurate the festival. As many as 184 films will be screened at three venues with in sopanam auditorium. These are films produced either by school students or films produced for children.
Some of the films to be screend include Paaval Madhuram, study tour, letter, Little chick, An ode to the Alley Kids, Silent steps, Olichukali, The cherry Tree, Ore Oru Bhoomi, Golden Dawn, Snehasammanam, Penkutty, Baloon Babu, No Boundaries, Kanal, Kuttapai, Kavitha police, Pearls of our country, The Last Bell, Beware of Dogs, Road to School, Knowledge is power, Kariylakal, A farmers sorrow, Tsunami, School Diary, Venal Mazha, Krishnapuram Kottaram and How to use a Gun.
