Palliative Care Awareness Rally Concludes

The Palliative Care Awareness Rally, organized under the auspices of the Kerala Palliative Care Initiative (KPCI), was held on October 16.

The rally was inaugurated by Dr. Mathew Jacob, Managing Director of Aroma Hospital, at Karickam International Public School. Prof. John Kurakar, President of the Kerala Palliative Care Initiative, presided over the function.

Dr. Abraham Karickam, Mr. K. O. Rajukutti, Mr. Sunil Kumar, Mr. Jose Abraham, Adv. Sajan Koshy, Mr. Mailam Renji, Prof. Molly Kurakar, Mr. Viswanathan, Dr. Anju, Mr. Shiby Johnson, and Mr. Ashok Kumar addressed the gathering.

After visiting various schools, the rally concluded with a valedictory meeting held at Aroma Hospital at 4:00 p.m. The meeting was inaugurated by Mr. Kalayapuram Jose, with Prof. John Kurakar presiding.

Dr. Srihari and Sister Rani addressed the gathering. Kottavattom Thankappan and his troupe presented a palliative care musical programme.
