Kottarakkara: A seminar on "Sri Narayana Guru's Advaita Philosophy" was jointly organized by the Kerala Palliative Care Initiative and the Kurakar Centre Research Library at the Kurakar Education Centre Research Library, Kottarakkara.The keynote paper was presented by Dr. V. K. Sasidharan, former Vice-Chancellor of the University of Calicut, who delivered an insightful lecture on Sri Narayana Guru's Advaita philosophy.The seminar was presided over by Prof. John Kurakar, President of the Kerala Palliative Care Initiative.

Among those who addressed the gathering were Mr. K. Bhaskaran, Chairman of Rachana Publications; Rev. Samuel Nettiyadan, novelist; Dr. Sundaresan; Dr. Keerthana; Dr. Selvam; Mrs. Rukmini; Mrs. Shakeela Azeez; Prof. Molly Kurakar; Dr. Gopalakrishnan; Dr. Shanavas; Mr. Achan Kunju Kunjumon Cherukara; Mr. Alex Pathalath Vila; and Mr. Mathew Luke.During the function, the Gurudeva Study Centre at the Kurakar Education Centre Research Library was also inaugurated by the former Vice-Chancellor, Dr. V. K. Sasidharan.The meeting concluded at 5:45 p.m.
