INTER NATIONAL
NON- BINARY PEOPLE’S DAY- JULY 14
International Non-Binary People's Day is observed annually on July 14 to celebrate the diversity of non-binary individuals and raise awareness about the unique challenges they face worldwide. Why July 14?The date was originally proposed in 2012 by Canadian author Katje van Loon. It was specifically chosen because it falls exactly halfway between International Women's Day (March 8) and International Men's Day (November 19), symbolizing a space completely outside the gender binary. This day advocates for greater understanding, acceptance, and protection of non-binary rights globally. Join in by learning more, sharing inclusive resources, and supporting organizations dedicated to LGBTQ+ equality. It is a day to recognize, celebrate, and raise awareness of people whose gender identity is non-binary—meaning they do not identify exclusively as male or female Celebrate the contributions and experiences of non-binary people.Increase public understanding of non-binary gender identities.Advocate for greater inclusion, legal recognition, and access to appropriate healthcare and services.Highlight the diversity of gender identities across different cultures and communities.
