The Book Lovers Association Kottarakkara Chapter officially started its activities on May 9, 2026, at Kurakar Education Center. A Research Library is also functioning under the chapter.The public meeting was presided over by Shri K. Bhaskaran, Chairman of Rachana Publication. The inauguration was performed by novelist Rev. Nettiyadan. Prof. John Kurakar delivered the welcome address and introductory speech. 

Among those who spoke at the function were Bible College Director Pastor Raju, Gurupriya Math Acharya Mata Gurupriya, Prof. Molly Kurakar, Solar Solution Manager Mathew Luke, Secretary Valsala, Kunjachan Paruthiyara, Dr. Balakrishnan, Comrade Info System Managing Director Sam Kurakar, Geetha, and Comrade News Presenter Mrs. Sheela Sam Kurakar.The Research Library was inaugurated by Rev. Father Nettiyadan through ribbon-cutting ceremony. The meeting began with a devotional song by Mata Gurupriya.
