This delightful mango hails from Japan's Miyazaki Prefecture, where it was first cultivated through selective breeding in the 20th century and still follows the similar process of breeding, where in the entire process of cultivation is done manually. Interestingly, in Japan, farmers manually pollinate the plants and wrap every mango and protect them from pollutants and bugs by providing a safe environment to maintain the highest quality at all stages. This is the reason why this mango variety is the rare and most expensive one as every stage of its growth is mindfully monitored
