75 SOVEREIGNS, DIAMOND JEWELLERY STOLEN FROM HOUSE IN
KAYAMKULAM
കായംകുളത്ത് വീട് കുത്തിത്തുറന്ന് 75 പവനും
വജ്രാഭരണങ്ങളും കവര്‍ന്നു
In a major heist, unidentified persons made
away with 75 sovereigns of gold ornaments and Rs 4 lakh worth diamond jewellery
from a house in Kayamkulam. The thieves entered the residence of Pullikanakku
Surendran by breaking open the door and took away the jewellery and valuables
worth around Rs 15,000. Surendran along with his family members had left for
Thiruvananthapuram on December 31 to visit a relative. On Monday, they returned
to Kayamkulam when the theft came to light. The police have registered a case
and investigations are on
കായംകുളത്ത് വീട് കുത്തിത്തുറന്ന് വന്‍ കവര്‍ച്ച. പുള്ളിക്കണക്ക് സുരേന്ദ്രന്റെ വീട്ടിലാണ് കവര്‍ച്ച നടന്നത്. 75 പവന്‍ സ്വര്‍ണാഭരണങ്ങളും നാല് ലക്ഷം രൂപയുടെ വജ്രാഭരണങ്ങളും നഷ്ടമായി 15,000 രൂപയും മറ്റ് വിലപിടിപ്പുള്ള സാധനങ്ങളും കൊള്ളയടിക്കപ്പെട്ടിട്ടുണ്ട്
ഡിസംബര്‍ 31 ന് വീടുപൂട്ടി സുരേന്ദ്രനും കുടുംബവും തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തുള്ള ബന്ധവീട്ടില്‍ പോയിരിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. ഇന്ന് തിരകെ എത്തിയപ്പോള്‍ വീടിന്റെ മുന്‍ഭാഗംതര്‍ത്തിരിക്കുന്നതായി കണ്ടതിനെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് നടത്തിയ പരിശോധനയിലാണ് കവര്‍ച്ച നടന്നതായി മനസിലായത്. സംഭവത്തില്‍ പോലീസ് അന്വേഷണം
