PROF. JOHN KURAKAR ADDRESSING ON URI-TPA WORKSHOP AT SILPHA HOTEL

URI-ASIA PEACE AWARD PRESETED TO DR.PHILIPOSE MAR CHRYSOSTOM VALIYA THIRUMENI
First URI Asia Peace Award was presented to Dr. Philipose Mar Chrysostom Mar Thoma Valiya Metropolitan yesterday during the inauguration of URI Traveling Peace Academy Training, in Kerala, India. Executive Director Rev. Dr. Victor Kazanjian presented the award to 100 year old Chrysostom, the longest living bishop in the world ( He became bishop in 1953 ). URI Karma Sreshta awardwas given to Mr. Sasidharan Nair of Houston, former president of FOMA ( Forum of Malayalee Associations of America ).

Bishop Chrysostom inaugurated the week long TPA session. Sally Mahe, Susan Anayatin, Prof.John Kurakar, K. O. Rajukutty, George Panicker and P. K. Ramachandran offered FELICITATIONS. Dr. Abraham Karickam presided. Around 250 people from various CCs and organisations attended the meeting at SILPA Regency hotel
