URI’S 16^TH CELEBRATION, SOUTH INDIA REGION

United Religions Initiative South India Region celebrated its 16^th birth day celebration was held on 25^th June, 2016 at Karickam International Public School. Prof. Jose Kutty P.K, principal, St. Gregorios College inaugurated the meeting. Prof. Abraham Karickom, Secretary General of U.R.I presided. Prof. John Kurakar welcomed the chief gusts and delegates.

The south India region presented URI’s prestigious Intercultural Life time Achievement award to 12 dedicated social and cultural scholars. Mr. Inchackal Balachandran, Prof. T.G Rajan, Dr. P.N Gangadharan Nair, Mr. K.C George, Mr.P.J David, Mr. Rajan Cosmic, Mr. Habibulla M, Kalayapuram Jose, Mrs. Mariamma Mathew, Mr. Y. Rajan, Vettickavala Somadas, Mr. Y Thankachan were spoke on the occasion. Mr. Neelaswaram Sadasivan released the book” URI AMONG THE COMMUNITY” After the felicitation arts programme was started at 6.30 P.M. Music Programe, dances, and comic programmes also included. The birth day celebration concluded with dinner at 7.15 P.M.
