KERALA HOUSE BEEF ROW-
CENTRAL GOVERNMENT REGRETS
After two days of
controversial beef raid at Kerala House, the Home Minister Rajnath Singh
finally showed his willingness to express the regret to Kerala Chief Minister
Oommen Chandy. Apart from that the Delhi police put forth a circular which
said, to take permission from Residential Commissioner before raiding
Government places. Vishnu Gupta, the Hindu Sena leader was remanded for four
days in Judicial custody. He was arrested for allegedly making false complaint
on beef served at Kerala House. The police said that his false complaint lead
to all controversies.
The Central government
was also trying to solve the widespread issue by taking strong action. If the
situation continue the Central government fear that it may affect the federal
system. Rajanth Singh also added that he will clear the issue by talking to
Kerala CM Oommen Chandy. Rajnath's response came soon after Oommen Chandy wrote
a letter to the Home ministry expressing disapproval over the raid at Kerala
House without prior permission. Meanwhile Hindu Sena members protested in
Jantar Mantar demanding the release of Vishnu Gupta.
