HINDU ORGANIZATION TO SERVE SELFISH INTEREST

എന്‍.എസ്.എസ് ഹിന്ദു ഐക്യത്തിനില്ല;

സാഹമൂഹ്യ നീതിയാണ് വേണ്ടത്

NSS general secretary G Sukumaran Nair has alleged that selfish interests drove some persons to form an association in the name of Hindu unity. He also said that the move was aimed at pushing many matters regarding certain persons under carpet.

'It is not true that the interests of Hindus will be protected only if there is Hindu unity. NSS is not participating in this becuse it has understood the reason why some people are behind this move. NSS does not have the opinion that everyone should participate in 'Vishala Hindu Aikyam' (broader Hindu unity). The basic principles of NSS do not allow such a move," said Sukumar Nair while addressing the Vijayadashami celebrations of NSS.

"It is being alleged that NSS is against Hindu unity. The common interest of the Hindu is to be protected. However, all these can only be said rather than practised. The NSS policy does not allow to form a Hindu organisation and work for the same," Sukumaran Nair siad. Pointing out examples, Sukumaran Nair said that NSS has always stood for the common needs of the Hindu community."The NSS is not ready to be a part of any political party. Earlier, a political party was formed and tested. Today, the NSS is not ready for this. NSS would practice equi-distance policy in the upcoming local body polls also. People from different political parties work in the NSS. There is no ban on those people contesting in the elections. However, they should not use NSS label," said Sukumaran Nair.Mentioning that the NSS has always stood for secularism and social justice, Sukumaran Nair reminded that the contribution of the organization should not be forgotten."It has not gathered strength by associating itself with any particular community or political party. It is the NSS policy to oppose the wrong polices of respective governments at all times. The organization is not against any politcal party. It does not have any politics also. However, it has a political stand. The organization has been able to pressurise different governments to agree to its stand," said Sukumaran Nair."It is only regarding the reservation issue that a solution has not been reached. It is up to the Central Government to take a decion regarding reservation. NSS has presented these things before the Centre," he said.

Stressing that there was no change in NSS stance over reservation issue, Sukumaran Nair said that the distorted reservation policy followed today should be dismantled if the poor people belonging to both reserved and unreserved communities were to get justice. 

           എസ്.എന്‍.ഡി.പി-ബി.ജെ.പി സഖ്യത്തിനെതിരെ എന്‍.എസ്.എസ് ജനറല്‍ സെക്രട്ടറി സുകുമാരന്‍ നായര്‍. കള്ളത്തരം ഒളിച്ചുവയ്ക്കാനുള്ളവരാണ് പുതിയ കൂട്ടുകെട്ടുമായി ഇറങ്ങിയിരിക്കുന്നതെന്ന് സുകുമാരന്‍ നായര്‍ കുറ്റപ്പെടുത്തി. ഇപ്പോള്‍ വാദിക്കുന്നവര്‍ ഹിന്ദുക്കള്‍ക്കായി ഒന്നും ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല. എന്‍.എസ്.എസ് വിശാല ഹിന്ദു ഐക്യത്തിനില്ല. ചിലരുടെ സ്വാര്‍ത്ഥ താല്‍പ്പര്യ സംരക്ഷിക്കാനാണ് ഇപ്പോള്‍ ഹിന്ദു ഐക്യം പറയുന്നത്. ഹിന്ദുക്കളുടെ താല്‍പ്പര്യം സംരക്ഷിക്കാന്‍ ഹിന്ദു ഐക്യം വേണമെന്നില്ലെന്നും എന്‍.എസ്.എസ് ജനറല്‍ സെക്രട്ടറി കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്‍ത്തു.

തദ്ദേശ സ്വയംഭരണ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പില്‍ എന്‍.എസ്.എസിന്റെ സമദൂര നിലപാടില്‍ മാറ്റമില്ല. എന്‍.എസ്.എസിന് ഒരു രാഷ്ട്രീയ പാര്‍ട്ടിയോടും മമതയോ വിദ്വേഷമോ ഇല്ല. ഒരു രാഷ്ട്രീയ പാര്‍ട്ടിയോടും ചേര്‍ന്നല്ല എന്‍.എസ്.എസ് വളര്‍ന്നത് അതുകൊണ്ടു തന്നെ എന്‍.എസ്.എസ് രാഷ്ട്രീയ പാര്‍ട്ടി രൂപീകരിക്കില്ലെന്നും സുകുമാരന്‍ നായര്‍ കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്‍ത്തു. എന്‍.എസ്.എസിന് രാഷ്ട്രീയമില്ല. രാഷ്ട്രീയ നിലപാടുകള്‍ മാത്രമേയുള്ളൂ. കരയോഗത്തിന്റെ ബാനറില്‍ മത്സരിക്കാന്‍ ആരെയും അനുവദിക്കില്ലെന്നും സുകുമാരന്‍ പറഞ്ഞു.ആര് ഭരിച്ചാലും അവരുടെ തെറ്റായ നയങ്ങളെ എന്‍.എസ്.എസ് എതിര്‍ക്കും. ഹിന്ദു സംഘടനയില്‍ പ്രവര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്നത് എന്‍.എസ്.എസ് നയമല്ല. സാഹമൂഹ്യ നീതിക്കായാണ് എന്‍.എസ്.എസ് നിലകൊള്ളുന്നതെന്നും അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.
