TALIBAN ATTACK: INDIAN SCHOOLS OBSERVE 2-MINUTE SILENCE
schoolIn memory the horrible attack triggered by Pak Taliban yesterday, killing more than 100 people, including students, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other MPs on Wednesday observed two-minute silence. Indian schools also observed a two-minute silence and held special prayers to remember the victims of the terror attack on a Peshawar army school in Pakistan on Tuesday.PM Modi offered his deepest condolence to his Pakistan counterpart Nawaz Sharif over phone and shared Pakistan’s pain in the wake of the dastardly terror attack. He offered all assistance in the hour of grief.

“This terrible tragedy has shaken the conscience of the world” and “that this moment of shared pain and mourning is also a call for our two countries and all those who believe in humanity to join hands to decisively and comprehensively defeat terrorism so that the children in Pakistan, India and elsewhere do not have to face a future darkened by the lengthening shadow of terrorism,” Modi reportedly told Sharif.
