Thiruvananthapuram medical college emerges topper

The Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram, has emerged as a comfortable topper on the penultimate day of ‘Genesis-14,’ the inter-medical college youth festival. Around 2,500 students from medical colleges across the State are participating in this annual festival.At the close of 66 events on Sunday, the hosts, MCH Thiruvananthapuram, had secured 186 points. The Government Medical College Kozhikode was a distant second with 149 points and the Government TD Medical College Alappuzha stood third with 135 points.The youth festival would conclude on Monday with a rock concert by Raghu Dixit.

Whistling a song: First: Sajan Rahman, GMC Thrissur; Second: Dununool Shibly, GMC, Calicut; Third: Mohammed Suhail, Karuna Medical College.

Keyboard: First: S. R. Vinayak, TDMC Alappuzha; Second: Blesson George, GMC Calicut; Third: Abu Anil John, GMC, Thiruvananthapuram.
