മലയാളി ജോണി ടോം വര്ഗീസിന് എട്ടാം റാങ്ക്
The Union Public Service Commission on Thursday announced results for the Civil Service Examination 2013, naming 1,122 successful candidates who had cleared the prestigious examination to join premier civil services including the Indian Administrative Service.This is the highest intake of civil servants through this examination, nearly double the 580 civil servants recruited in 2009. An additional 210 candidates have been placed in the reserve list.
Gaurav Agrawal, Munish Sharma and Rachit Raj have bagged the top three spots in the tough examination comprising a written test (held in December 2013) followed by interviews (held in April-June 2014).While 517 candidates have cleared the examination in the general category, 326 belong to Other Backward Classes, 187 Scheduled Caste and 92 to Scheduled Tribe categories.As many as 180 candidates have made it to the highly-coveted IAS, 32 to Indian Foreign Services and 150 to Indian Police Service.The maximum (710) number of candidates has been selected for Central Services Group 'A' and the rest (156) to Group 'B' Services.
ഈ വര്ഷത്തെ സിവില് സര്വ്വീസ് പരീക്ഷാ ഫലങ്ങള് പ്രഖ്യാപിച്ചു. ഗൗരവ് അഗര്വാളിനാണ് ഒന്നാം റാങ്ക്. ജോണി ടോം വര്ഗ്ഗീസാണ് എട്ടാം റാങ്കോടെ മലയാളികളില് മികച്ച പ്രകടനം കാഴ്ചവെച്ചത്. ആദ്യ അന്പത് റാങ്കില് രണ്ട് റാങ്കുകളാണ് മലയാളികള് നേടിയത്. മലയാളികളായ ദീപക് പത്മകുമാര് 31 ആം റാങ്കും ദീപക് ജേക്കബ് 57 ആം റാങ്കും നേടി. 180 പേര്ക്കാണ് ഐഎഎസ് ലഭിച്ചത്.1122 പേരാണ് ഇത്തവണ സിവില് സര്വീസിന് യോഗ്യത നേടിയത്.കഴിഞ്ഞ വര്ഷം ഒന്നാം റാങ്കുള്പ്പെടെ പരീക്ഷയിലെ ആദ്യ നാലുറാങ്കുകളില് മൂന്നും മലയാളികള് നേടിയിരുന്നു.
