TWO MALAYALEE ENGG STUDENTS DROWN TO DEATH AT BHAVANI RIVER INERODE
 Two Malayalee engineering students drowned at the Bhavani river at Nenjapuliampatti near Erode in Tamil Nadu when they went for play. The dead were Amal Gopi (21) from Kottayam and Billiance (21) from Karunagapally in Kollam.The two were students of JKK Mathirajan Engineering college and set out for play along with 8 other friends on Friday evening. The friends who saw the duo getting stuck in the slump tried to rescue them but in vain. After the police and fireforce undertook rescue efforts, their bodies were taken out after 20 minutes.

The post mortem of the bodies were held at the Gopichetipalayam govt hospital and were handed out to the relatives. The students, who were mechanical engineering students, were all set to take their exams on Monday when they met with their fate.
