KERALA KAVYA KALA SAHITHY TEAM VISITED KOTTARAKRA FEST

Agriculture Minister K.P. Mohanan will inaugurate the Kottarakara Fest on January 31,2014.The event, organised by the Kottarakara Horti-Agri Society in association with the Agriculure-Animal Husbandry Departments, the district panchayat, the Kottarakara grama panchayat, and the District Tourism Promotion Council, will be held at the Kottaralara Orthodox Convention grounds.Basically a flower show, various flowering plants from the country and abroad will be showcased at the festival. There will be stalls put up by various government and quasi-government organisations, ornamental fish and pet shows, an amusement park, and a food festival. കൊട്ടാരക്കര ഹോര്‍ട്ടി അഗ്രി സൊസൈറ്റി (കാസ്) യുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തില്‍ സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്ന പ്രദര്‍ശനമേളയായ കൊട്ടാരക്കര ഫെസ്റ്റ് 31 മുതല്‍ ഫിബ്രവരി 9 വരെ പുലമണ്‍ ഓര്‍ത്തഡോക്‌സ് കണ്‍വെന്‍ഷന്‍ ഗ്രൗണ്ടില്‍ നടക്കും. സംസ്ഥാന കൃഷി-മൃഗസംരക്ഷണ-ക്ഷീരവികസന വകുപ്പുകള്‍, ജില്ലാ ടൂറിസം പ്രൊമോഷന്‍ കൗണ്‍സില്‍, ജില്ലാ-ഗ്രാമ പഞ്ചായത്തുകള്‍ എന്നിവയുടെ സഹകരണത്തോടെയാണ് മേള സംഘടിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. കൊട്ടാരക്കര ടി.ബി.ജങ്ഷനില്‍നിന്ന് 31ന് വൈകിട്ട് 5 ന് ആരംഭിക്കുന്ന വിളംബരജാഥയോടെ മേളയ്ക്ക് തുടക്കമാവും. തുടര്‍ന്ന് 6 ന് കേന്ദ്രമന്ത്രി കൊടിക്കുന്നില്‍ സുരേഷ് മേള ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്യും. പവിലിയന്റെ ഉദ്ഘാടനം മുന്‍മന്ത്രി ആര്‍.ബാലകൃഷ്ണപിള്ള നിര്‍വഹിക്കും. അഡ്വ. പി.അയിഷാപോറ്റി എം.എല്‍.എ. അധ്യക്ഷത വഹിക്കും. കളക്ടര്‍ ബി.മോഹനന്‍ മുഖ്യാതിഥിയാകും. ഫിബ്രവരി 7ന് നടക്കുന്ന കാര്‍ഷികസമ്മേളനം മന്ത്രി കെ.പി.മോഹനന്‍ ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്യും. മികച്ച കര്‍ഷകനെ ചടങ്ങില്‍ ആദരിക്കും. സമാപനസമ്മേളനം 9ന് വൈകിട്ട് 5 മണിക്ക് മന്ത്രി അനൂപ് ജേക്കബ് ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്യും. വിവിധ സര്‍ക്കാര്‍-അര്‍ധ സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ വകുപ്പുകളുടെ സ്റ്റാളുകള്‍, ഇന്ത്യയിലെയും വിദേശത്തെയും പുഷ്പങ്ങളുടെ പ്രദര്‍ശനം, അക്വാ-പെറ്റ് ഷോ, അമ്യൂസ്‌മെന്റ് പാര്‍ക്ക്, കുടുംബശ്രീകളുടെ ഭക്ഷണശാല, വിവിധ നഴ്‌സറികള്‍ എന്നിവയാണ് മേളയുടെ പ്രധാന ആകര്‍ഷണങ്ങള്‍. ദിവസവും കലാപരിപാടികളുമുണ്ട്. കേരള കാവ്യ കലാ സാഹിതി  ഭാരവാഹികളായ  പ്രൊഫ്‌. ജോണ്‍ കുരാക്കാർ (പ്രസിഡന്റ്‌ ) ശ്രി.നീലശ്വരം സദാശിവൻ ( വൈസ് പ്രെസീന്റ് ) ശ്രി  സാജൻ കോശി (സെക്രട്ടറി ) ശ്രി ബാബു  ഉമ്മൻ  എന്നിവർ കൊട്ടാരക്കര  ഫെസ്റ്റ്  സന്ദർശിച്ചു.
