RESISTING RAPE IN UP
Lucknow: A
30-year-old married woman was burnt to death after she resisted a rape attempt
by her neighbor Rajiv in Fazalpur village in Bijnore district on Friday night14th
June,2013..According to information received, Rajeev broke into the victim’s
house and tried to ape her while she was sleeping with her children. She
resisted his attempts following which Rajeev poured kerosene and burnt her
alive. The woman was rushed to a local hospital by other local people but
she succumbed to her injuries. Police is in search of the absconding
accused. (Deccan chronicle)
