PAID TO DR. S. BALARAMAN
ഡോക്ടർ എസ് ബലരാമൻ അന്തരിച്ചു
Former Acting Chairman of
State Human Rights Commission S. Balaraman passed away on Monday ,17th
June,2013,afternoon at a private hospital here.He was 75, and is survived by
his wife and two daughters.
Professor in Zoology, he was the former principal of SN Colleges at Cherthala and Alathur. He was also the registrar of Calicut University and Pro-Vice Chancellor of CUSAT. He was active in the pro-CPI college teachers union.
He had also headed the commission constituted by the government to enquire into the problems the nurses in the State. The funeral rites will be held at 5 p.m. on Tuesday. Prof. Balaraman is the son of Kattakada V. Shankar, former DCC president of Thiruvananthapuram.
