MEETING HELD ON THE DEMISE OF DR. MAR GEORGE THECKADATHU
A Condolence Meeting on the sad demise of
Mar George Theckadathu was held at the Kurakar Town Center, Kottarakara on Saturday,
1st December,2012 at 3.30 pm. Dr. Mar Geroge Theckadathu was
the patron of the Gandeeya Nava Sakthi
Sangam and Kerala Social Thinkers Forum.
Respected local eminent personalities from Gandeeya Nava Sakthi Sangam, Kerala
Kavya Kala Sahithy, United Releigions Initiative, and Kerala Social Thinkers
Forum were present on the occasion.
The programme started with prayer. Mr. Sam Kurakar, Director Comrade Info Systems welcomed the gathering. Prof. John Kurakar presided the condolence meeting. Dr. Abraham Karickom, Prof. Achamma John, Mr. K.Baby, Prof. P.K Varghese, Dr. T. V Thomas, Mr. Neelaswaram Sadasivan, Mrs. Marykutty, Mr. Gerogekutty and Fr. O. Thomas remembered his services for Kerala State and especially for Kottarakara. The meeting concluded with prayer by Fr. O. Thomas.
