AWARD
FOR KUNHUMOHAMMED
Noted film-maker P T Kunhumohammed was chosen
for the award instituted in memory of freedom fighter Mohammed Abdurahman. He
was selected for the award for introducing the life Mohammed Abdurahman to the
new generation through his film `Veeraputhran' based on the life of the freedom
fighter. The award, carrying a cash prize of Rs 25,000, memento and
citation, would be presented to Kunhumohammed at a function to be held at Kochi
on December 27, a release here said.
