WALKED OUT IN PROTEST AGAINST GANESH KUMAR’S SPEECH

Sugathakumari Tuesday,5th June,2012, walked out of the Haritha
Keralam programme orgainsed in connection with the environmental day
celebrations at Thiruvananthapuram.
Sugathakumari walked out of the programme in protest against the comment made by Forest Minister K.B. Ganesh Kumar.The minister had allegedly spoke about the ''pseudo environmental activists led by Sugathakumari teacher'' in his speech.Sugathakumari teacher is innocent. But I have got reports on environmental activists who are keeping the skins of wild animals, the minister reportedly said.In the meantime, Ganesh Kumar said that the news that Sugathakumari teacher walked out of the function is wrong. She went out to participate in another meeting and I was told about it, the ministe said.
