PROJECT
FOR MIGRANT LABOURERS
A project for the rehabilitation of migrant workers will be initiated by
developing adequate housing facilities this year, State Labour Minister Shibu
Baby John said..The implementation of the project will be monitored by the
Building and Other Construction Welfare Board. The project is designed to
implement on a BOT model in Trivandrum District, he said. In an effort to
enhance the housing facilities for the workers in plantation sector, a Housing
Project is proposed to be started this year, he said.
