AWARD FOR SCENARISTS-2012
Scenarists Bobby and Sanjay have won the
award for the best screenplay, instituted in memory of the late director and
scriptwriter Lohithadas by Legends, a Chalakudy-based organisation. Announcing
this at a press conference here on Thursday, jury chairman and director Sibi
Malayil said that the screenplay for the movie Traffic had
won them the award.Actor Nedumudi Venu would present the award at a function to
be held in memory of Lohithadas on July 5.Fefka Writers Union general secretary
and director B. Unnikrishnan would handover the Lohithadas endowment to them.
K.P. Dhanapalan, MP; B.D. Devassy, MLA;
V.O. Pilappan, Chalakkudy municipal chairman; actors Innocent, Biju Menon, Mala
Aravindan, Edavela Babu, Kunjacko Boban, Asif Ali, Vinu Mohan, Ramya Nambeesan,
Bhama, Kaviyoor Ponnamma, and KPAC Lalitha would attend the function.
