MALAYALAM TO BE TAUGHT IN KENDRIYA VIDYALAYAS IN KERALA

MALAYALAM TO BE TAUGHT IN KENDRIYA VIDYALAYAS IN KERALA

From now onwards Malayalam will be taught in Kendriya Vidyalayas across Kerala as per the Central Right To Education act. As per the act, in each state the mother tongue would be taught as a subject. The demand to make Malayalam a subject in Kendriya Vidyalaya is an age old one. Malayalam would be taught from class I to 8 . But there won't be an examination for Malayalam in CBSE level.
