PLATINUM JUBILEE CELEBRATION OF
AYPPALLOOR SALEM ST.GEORGE ORTHDOX CHURCH
The platinum jubilee celebrations of St.George Orthodox Church , Ayppalloor, Kottarakara commenced,Sunday, 8th January,2012. Dr Yuhanon Mar Thevodhorus, Bishop of Kottarakara-Punalloor Diocese inaugurated the Platinum Jubilee Celebration at 10 am. Rev. Fr. Y.S Geevarghese,Vicar of the Church presided. Mr Jacob Mathew Kurakkaran welcomed the gatherings. Mr. Roy Chacko, News Editor, All India Radio, Mr. Cheriyan P.Koshy,, Mr Geevarghese Kurakkaran, Mr. C.K Achen Kunju, Mr. P.C Rajan Babu, Mr. Mathew Varghese were spoke on the occasion. Bishop also inaugurated the Money Malika and Kodimaram. Bishop distributed Parish Charity-Medical Fund to the needy and poor selected by the church. Cheeckal KochuThomman Oomman, Kavilayil Oommen Koshy, Padinjareveettil Kurakkaran Mathen Geevarghese were the founders of the church.
