ONV KURUP HAS BEEN CHOSEN FOR THE 2011 S. GUPTAN NAIR FOUNDATION AWARD

Poet ONV Kurup has been chosen for the 2011 S Guptan Nair Foundation Award for teachers who have left an indelible imprint on literature and culture. The award would be presented to Prof Kurup by Chief Minister Oommen Chandy at a function to be held on February 6, foundation secretary A M Vasudevan Pillai said in a statement. The award carries Rs 10,000 cash prize, plaque designed by BD Dathan .
