Mr. B ASHOK APPOINTED CHALACHITRA ACADEMY SECRETARY
B Ashok, presently Director in charge of Municipalities, has been appointed as secretary of the Kerala State Chalachitra Academy. Ashok would also hold the additional charge as Managing Director of the Kerala State Film Development Corporation (KSFDC), an official release said here today. This is for the first time that an IAS officer is beingposted as Academy secretary. A reshuffle in the Academy was on cards following complaints of lapses in the conduct of the International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) held here last month. Present secretary K G Santhosh will return to his home department of Information and Public Relations.
