KADAMANITTA RAMAN NAIR ASAN MEMORIAL PADAYANI AWARD
The Kadammanitta Raman Nair Asan Puraskara Samithi, a kadamanitta -based organisation for the promotion of Padayani has instituted an award in the name of the late Kadamanitta Raman Nair Asan who was prominent Padayani artiste in central Travancore. The award comprising a cash prize of Rs 10,001 and a citation,would be presented to a Padayani artiste. Prof Vasudevan Pillai who had won the P.K Kalan award money worth Rs 1,00000 to the samithi for instituting a new award in the name of the late Padayani artiste.
