FREEDOM FIGHTER’S HONORARIA INCREASING The Madhya Pradesh governmentr decided  in  1st December,2011,to enhance freedom-fighters' honoraria from Rs 6,000 to Rs 15,000 each per month, sources said. Until now, freedom-fighters were provided medical assistance only for cancer treatment, attachment of artificial limbs, open heart surgery and kidney transplant. A Cabinet meeting, chaired by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, widened the ambit of rules in this connection by incorporating all ailments certified as serious by the district chief medical officers.                                                                                   Prof. John Kurakar
