TRIBUTE PAID TO
SRI KURAKARAN K.C ALEXANDER

Punaloor Mussavarikunnu Salem Veettil  Kurakkaran K.C Alexander,former Railway Station Master died on7th November,2011. He was 86. He was the Exicutive Committee member and Punalloor Regional Secretary of the Kurakaran Valiyaveetil Kudumbayogam. He is surviving his wife Kunjunjamma and three sons Thomas, Jacob , Paul and a daughter Annamma. Under his leadeship Kurakaran Kudumbayogam  Punaloor unit embarked on a new journey of development. He encouraged many talented young members to write poems and articles. Mr.  K.C Alexander was honoured with Ponnada in 2002 by Kudumbayogam. He has published many devotional poems and several biblical articles in’ Kudumba Deepam and other family and church journals.
Mr K. C Alexander’s body placed at his house for the near and dear to pay their last respects on 10th November,2011 at 10.30 am Hundreds from all sections of the society paid their last respects. The last journey from home began by 10.30 am. Special funeral prayers at Salem House were lead by church Vicar and other priests of the various churches. Among those who paid their last respects to K.C Alexander as Thursday include Mr Kurakaran A.C Thomas, President Kudumba yogam, , Prof.John Kurakar,President, Kerala Kavya Kala Sahithi,, Mr. Varghese Kurakar, Mr. Bobby Kurakar, Mr. P.G Achen Kunju, Mr. T Abraham and other political and social leaders.
Kurakaran Kudumbayogam was arranged a condolence meeting at Karickom padinjare veedu. Mr A.C Thomas presided over the meeting. The Kudumbayogam president said Mr. K.C Alexander’s demise was great loss to the Kurakkaran family.
