TRIBUTE PAID TO EAPEN VARGHESE,

FORMER MLA

Kochi: Prominent Congress leader and former M L A Eapen Verghese died at Kochi onWednesday,9^th November,2011. He was undergoing treatment for liver cancer for a long time. He breathed his last at 7.45 am at a private hospital Wednesday. He became M L A twice and had close relations with former Chief Minister late K Karunakaran.He was in the forefront during the inception of Kerala Congress. He had also worked as Working Chairman of Kerala Congress (J). Of late, he was the adviser to Kerala Congress (Mani) group.
